Pros

Lots of great coworkers, good compensation for a first-time career, great exposure to healthcare ecosystem, lots of travel.

Cons

No compensation transparency, horrible work-life balance, essentially no corporate accountability, below average PTO buffered by unpaid personal days, archaic remote work policies, predatory hiring model that relies on turning and burning new graduates rather than building long-term employees which results in worse project outcomes due to aggregated lack of experience between coordinators and managers, excessive timelines and project staffing ends up biting off more regardless of if the employee says they can chew or not.

Pros

Very solid pay and good work experience for individuals fresh out of college, especially in the current job market

Cons

Very taxing workload, poor managerial support and oversight, lack of accountability by epic for hospitals to fulfill their contractual obligations to source the minimum number of analysts/consultants with the necessary skillset/knowledge to support implementation which contributes to a heightened workload.
