1. Good pay in midwest but not national wide. 2. Living expense is low if you do not live in Madison.

Cons

I stayed in Epic about two years. 1. old technology. Still using Visual basic and Cache. 2. Very long working hours.50_ 3. If you hold H1-visa, be careful about your manager. I heard a lot of unhappy stories. 4. Career path will be limited, if you put Visual basic in your skill set,

Pros

- Good competitive pay compared to other similar companies - Good Campus and office space. - Recognition for good work. If you show keen interest in the work and leadership skills, you will be promoted pretty soon.

Cons

- Horrible work life balance (Expect to work more than 70 hours a week) - You will be spending most of your time in office (7 days a week and more than 10-12 hours a day) - You feel exhausted after a while and the pressure to work on new prj's always keeps piling on. - They promise that developers would be working on C# and .net and that is a lie - 95% of the developers end up working on VB and CACHE(database that nobody really cares about) for the rest of their life at Epic. So no professional growth. - Higher management treats you like a piece of furniture and expects you to work round the clock (even on weekends and holidays) - Higher management fires employees like crazy for no big reasons. - New grads- Beware- This is a career killer. - Very high attrition - You will be seeing people leave every now and then
