Pros

The pay is very competitive and the staff has been very friendly.

Cons

I've heard the work life balance can leave some things to be desired, but I can't speak from experience yet.

Pros

You have a lot of leeway to do what you want if there' s a particular project you're interested in. Culinary is fantastic. Good first starter job right out of college. Great pay! Madison is a cool little town.

Cons

Stingy PTO policy - 3 weeks is the maximum. They dangle a sabbatical over your head at the 5 year point, but it's heavily taxed. Long vesting time for 401k - 5 years! Bizarre anti-remote work policy - blizzards or pandemics are no excuse to wfh. Management has really dug in its heels on this one. There's weird hoops you can jump through to get half days. Onboarding consisted of the same two weeks of corporate brainwashing/application training as everyone else - there was no hosting-specific onboarding or helpful training. Hosting lacks cohesive and coherent documentation. You have to log your hours everyday. 40 hours will not be considered enough. On call will be expected. I was told Judy regretted going into Hosting. Perhaps that's why it has such a "startup" feel despite being in such a massive company. Extremely poor Covid response.
