A lot of different aspects of the company, Working remotely is great

Cons

Opportunities in IT are extremely limited. Micromanaging is a pain. Management relies too heavily on reporting.

Very good company for developers

Pros

Epiq is a large company with different divisions, so this review is in the context of database development. Starting pay, atmosphere, and coworkers are all very good. The people make it very enjoyable to work here. There's also a very good work-life balance. The management may ask to see if you want to take some overtime, but they do not demand and they will not push if you decline.

Cons

As with most companies it is difficult to get raises. Inflation this year is brutal and I will try to update this in a couple months after I ask for a raise that matches the 7.5% of inflation this year.
