Toxic work environment with lots of drama and lies. They only care about their numbers.
Pros
There are FEW pros to working here, people are friendly, Remote work is a plus, and they have a good tone of the things they wish they could change and great equipment. They also give out gifts to compensate for their lack of retention. First 3 weeks? You’ll feel like everyone is lying about how happy they are. They probably are.
Cons
They’ll fire you within the year without any warning or support. I understand any job faces the hard decision of letting people go; but in the time I worked at Epitec, around 15 people were let go in less than 6 months. They expect you work extra time (unpaid) to meet your goals and if you still do that, you’ll get fired. People are very disposable to them in every sense; they lie to candidates and use them for their numbers. If you are hitting your calls, getting the people, they’ll still fire you. At the end of the day the only thing they care about is numbers, if you are trying everyday meeting your metrics but it’s not up to their liking you’ll be gone. If they want you to do something a certain way; they’ll twist your words to their liking. they’ll lie to get whatever they want which is, you guessed, numbers. If you work here, be constantly looking for a job and actively interviewing, they do not appreciate effort.
