Pros

The people I trained with were the only trustworthy and reliable kind people in the building

Cons

ANY POSITIVE REVIEW YOU READ FOR THIS COMPANY WAS BY A CURRENT EMPLOYEE WHO WAS ORDERED TO DO IT BY MANAGEMENT. Where to even begin... - You get let go after only a few months of training for "no reason" but its because your numbers aren't high enough - You are given almost the same number goals as people who have been there for years when you are fresh out of trying - They only train you through 1/4 of the process and hey expect you to just figure out the rest on your own. - They value employees that have been there longer more and they don't try to hide it - Very unattached managers - I was let go by people who i never had one-on-one contact with until I was let go because my manager was to much of a detached robot to do it themselves - They expect you to put in 10+ hour work days when numbers are low

Pros

They do have alot of free food almost daily which can easily be a Con if you are trying to eat better. Office parties offer free alcohol and food which is nice but that only happens a few times per year.

Cons

They treat their recruiters like trash! They hire people fresh out of college and put them to work as a recruiter and expect them to produce the same results as recruiters who have been there much longer than them which is ridiculous. Then their turnover is really high which should have been a red flag to me from the beggining. You wont find a recruiter there who has been there for over 2 years. Recruiters are constantly quitting or they are constanly firing recruiters and giving them no explanation to why they are being let go. They are also constantly swearing in the workplace all while recruiters are on the phone with prospective candidates. They expect alot out of you for this to be an entry-level position. They expect you to come early and to leave late and work on weekends as well. The salary definitely doesnt align with the position duties. Seriously 30K is very underayed for this position. Bottom-line: I would not recommend working for this company as a Recruiter to anyone.

Pros

Epitec is known for all of the little "extras" they provide employees. These include: -Tigers Tickets -Red Wings Suite Tickets -Happy Hours -Free Food (more on that later) -Extremely attractive office space In addition to this, Epitec offers pretty good benefits and good compensation straight out of college. Without a doubt, this is a great place to start. Their training program is extensive and will show you the ropes of recruiting. Just make sure you move on after a maximum of 6 months.

Cons

Here are some of the many Cons of working here: -Micro-Management to the extreme. Your phone calls, e-mails, internet usage, how many times you go to the bathroom is all tracked. Seriously, one day I wasn't feeling very well and my Sales Manager asked me why I was going to the bathroom so much and was clearly annoyed. -You will get hired in with 12 or so people. By Month 4, over half of them will have been fired. Epitec routinely "cleans house" and lets people go for mostly no reason. I personally was not fired, however almost every day at work I wondered if it was going to be my last week there. -No work/life balance. They claim you will only work 8-5, but that isn't the case. If you leave by 5 you will be scoffed at for being a "Fiver." This also likely adds to your list of reasons of why you will ultimately be terminated. Also, Epitec routinely brings in food for lunches. At first, it seems like a nice gesture. That is until you are belittled for choosing to eat said food in their lunch room as opposed to eating at your desk. They expect 100% work, absolutely no breaks. -Seniority means nothing. I watched a high ranking manager who had been with them since the beginning get escorted off the premises and nobody was given a concrete reason why. You are not a person here. You either do what they want and perform at a high level every second of every day or good bye blue sky.
