Pros

The kitchen and free lunch. Thats about it.

Cons

Stressful environment where in house employees are patronized and treated as if they were 12. Quite a bit of gossip and disgruntled employees. Poor work life balance as you are required to work extra hours on a salary and are not paid for any hours over 40. Constantly terminating employees at the 6-11 month mark with no reason given. You will see employees being walked out on a weekly basis even if they are meeting or exceeding their goals. The people that are promoted are not promoted based off performance or reaching goals. Even if you are told your doing a great job you could still be let go the next day. Tend to let employees go right before paying out bonuses. All the bonus money that is offered is not quite as achievable as it may seem because people usually are not around long enough to get paid out. There is no carreer advancement here. The slogan is “It feels good to hire the right people" and should read "It feels right to fire the right people". Unprofessional management.

Pros

Initial training is extensive, thorough, and helpful. Commission, incentives, and bonuses are great. External employees (consultants) are treated great and the on boarding process is very easy. Physical environment clean and great to work in, technical environment is up-to-date and one of the best I've worked with.

Cons

Start off by saying I am not someone that was hired and let go six months later, I am not someone who didn't do my work, nor am I someone that under performed. I always exceeded my goals, worked hard, and even asked for more work. Other than confusion as to why I was let go I don't have any negative feelings, hatred, or animosity toward the company. The position they offer to recent college grads has excellent potential however the potential is never realized do to the unusually high turnover. Base salary is low compared to similar roles. I said "Commission, incentives, and bonuses are great" -- and yes it's true -- well it's true if you happen to be around long enough to build commission, earn incentives, or reach your annual bonuses. (Turnover time would appear to be around the 6-8 month mark.) During the initial interview process I was lead to believe there was TONS of opportunity for growth/promotion. Yes, I saw a few people get promoted but I saw more people get let go or leave. If I had to estimate I would say they promote 1 out of 75. The person they would choose to promote wasn't chosen based on performance, they are chosen by how good of a "brownnoser" they are. Career progression path is unknown, requirements to move up are unknown, and it is also unknown when they need someone to move up. I would guess that most of the people that were terminated were a result of poor performance (not reaching goals). One would assume that if you can be terminated for your numbers you would be promoted based on your numbers as well. That isn't the case; it's actually more likely that if you're too good at your job you are held back. Honestly the work is easy. It's not challenging at all. Yes the goals can be demanding, but their easy to reach. If i wanted to only MEET goals and just slide by it would have taken me about 10% effort. In regards to upper management they are nearly impossible to meet with and they rarely follow through. If you want stability, Epitec is NOT for you. If you want upper management to listen to ideas, Epitec is NOT for you. If you want to progress your career, Epitec is NOT for you. If you want to be challenged, Epitec is NOT for you. If you want to be held back, Epitec IS for you. If you want be unsure everyday if you will have a job, Epitec IS for you. If you want to work in a dead end job, Epitec IS for you. If you want to suddenly lose your job without explaination, Epitec IS for you
