Pros

Very proactive in the process. Provide clear directions as to what the hiring company is looking for, how to get to the interview and even meet you there to ensure everything will go smoothly. The pay and benefits package is very good.

Cons

Once they have placed you in a position, it doesn't appear they keep in touch with you to see how it is going. That would be a nice touch.

Pros

I am a recruiter with Epitec. I have not been an employee for long, but after having experience with a having strong sense of job security before working with Epitec, I can definitely say that Epitec is a wonderful company to work for, and I still feel that sense of job security that I am looking for. After reading other reviews on glassdoor, I was quite hesitant on working here. Please, allow me to assure you with my words, if you are considering working for Epitec. There are a lot of reasons why I love this job. The training program is one of them; you have 3 weeks to get established. If you have no previous recruiting experience and you're worried about how you are going to learn everything in time, do not worry; the 3 weeks is plenty enough time. You will go from not knowing anything about recruiting to being confident about it. The training managers are very helpful and totally there for you, willing to help and answer whatever questions you have. Furthermore, the company culture is one of my favorite aspects of the job. Epitec isn't like other staffing companies; we offer so much more to our candidates, we work with highly reputable clients, and we are honest about everything from the start. If a vibe is important to you as it is for me, Epitec definitely has good vibes. Top notch technology in a well-laid out environment. It's not drab like other office jobs might be. Everything, including day to day activities and employee training/meetings are very organized. In addition, you may have read other reviews that say there is no opportunity for growth and no opportunity of receiving feedback from your superiors. I have no idea where people are gathering these ideas from but I believe they are absolutely not true. If you are a successful recruiter, you are recognized. There are incentives to be successful - a LOT. If you are looking to climb a ladder, Epitec is definitely a place to try and do that at. I receive feedback from my superiors a few times a week. They are always telling me what I need to fix and are also telling me what I am doing right. When I am unsure of anything, I just ask. Another aspect I like about the job is that I'm surrounded by so many people with a passion to help people and to better themselves. I've already met a lot of amazing people and most days I am excited to go to work. Some people might say that recruiting is like working for a meat factory, and at Epitec, it's absolutely not true. There are so many people who have put their heart and souls into making Epitec a great company to work for, and it truly is. And they care about you. They want you to succeed. They have a passion for helping people just like you do. I advise you all to disregard the crappy reviews, I have tried really hard just now to tell it like it is.

Cons

I say this job is a roller coaster ride because it takes ONE phone call to make your day go from bad to good. You may feel like at times you can't get anyone to fill the role you are working on. The people you are looking for are out there. Epitec hires you because they feel like you can think outside of the box to do this task without feeling too defeated. You have to have personal strength to continue when you just want to give up. You have to have a desire for success. You have to be able to talk to people on the phone and be personable. It's a lot of hard work. Sometimes, young professionals can't handle the workload! Some people that have worked for Epitec (who have written bad reviews) are not willing to put in the hard work for it. In terms of turnover, I was terrified of turnover when I first started. This fear has been eliminated now that I've been here for a while. Try hard, keep treading through when times get tough, think outside of the box, and work your butt off to give the clients what they want. If you do these things, you have absolutely nothing to worry about, and rewards will come to you in time. By the way, no one told me to write a good review. I want to prevent the feelings that I got from reading other peoples' reviews on here so that you will be more likely to consider working as a recruiter for Epitec.

Great Company for Motivated Individuals!

Pros

Great opportunity for those willing to put in the work. Epitec is a company that firmly holds employees to a higher standard and promotes those who demonstrate the ability to exceed. Corporate happy hours, and team lunches help foster a cohesive team and are just part of the fun times that are had. Its not uncommon to be walking through the office and see someone smiling or joking amongst their team members. While there are tight deadlines and goals, Epitec has stated that its important to never lose its culture. Customers/Clients change over time, but maintaining a work place that employees want to work and customers want to do business with is what makes Epitec that great place to work for.

Cons

High stress environment when it comes to meeting goals and objectives. Everyone is accountable for their part and if things are not going your way it can become stressful.
