Pros

- Only one quarter a year where work is actually busy - you’ll get skills to move onward and upward - They may take chances on newbies which should always be praised

Cons

- There is an obvious clique which helps some people get promoted - Pay is embarrassingly low. It’s ok if you’re working remote and don’t pay rent. Very small incremental raises once a year. - First promotion will take 2 years. After that it’s even longer - The praise will always go to senior members and all of the focus is on one or two large accounts

Pros

"Unlimited vacation," some managers will require that you document your time off and that in reality, you can only take off 2 weeks/year. This is illegal, so its not an actual restriction, but you can gather the atmosphere.

Cons

Disorganized and decaying team structures due to high turnover. Work is very silo'd causing a lot of misunderstandings, wasted time & frustration. No mentorship encouragement whatsoever. Employees are instructed to manage themselves. Workloads cause several employees to work 60+ hours/week. Bleeding talent. No training at all, people literally joke about how long it takes to understand the job(an entire year) which in reality is very easy and unnecessarily causes a lot of burnout and tension, mgmt see's this as an employee problem that the employees should solve on their own. Rudeness is rampant and leadership is incredibly bullyish at times. Perks and benefits have done nothing but decrease.
