Benefits are slowly being stripped away from the employees who are the actual ones making money for the company. We don't get to see the profit we are making; no mid-year bonuses anymore, no end-of-year/Christmas bonuses, and bad raises, and the employee-owned stock we were forced into is slim compared to a good 401k investment. All company cares about lately is the bottom line and NOT its employees. New outside upper management is being hired at what seems to be monthly, instead of promoting from within. There are therefore no opportunities or reasons for employees to grow and seek new positions within the company. You stay where you started because they just hire someone to be above you instead of teaching you the skills you need to ensure you can rise to the next level. Seems like a cheap and impersonal way of doing business.
