      Good people, nowhere to go

      Pros

      A collaborative culture, lots of learning opportunities, lots of interaction with other teams, and management levels. Pay is pretty good, benefits too. Lots of side perks.

      Cons

      C-level leadership are too far removed from the day-to-day work to fully understand what it actually takes to do the work, which causes often unreasonable expectations. Lack of ability to move up. Constant reshuffling is tough to negotiate; never quite sure who is working on /r esponsible for what.

      Great people upper management disconnected

      Pros

      Great job and people. The managers and below Promote team work and a positive work environment. The lead with knowledge and a can do attitude.

      Cons

      The upper management belittles and yells at mid level management in front of employees. The managers/supervisors are so stressed and scared of upper management it’s feeds all the way down to even the newest employees.

      Pros

      there are great people that work at Epson. SEC, Seiko Epson Corporation is the parent company, an engineering dynamo. Epson sells some fabulous products.

      Cons

      Epson is extremely siloed internally. Product marketing each has their own agenda and does not work cohesively to assist sales to grow the overall products to reach the business plan each year. The organization does not communicate effectively, so you have different divisions not understanding what other divisions are doing. Hence going at cross purposes. Middle management are put in the awful position of having zero power but are expected to communicate and drive a strategic vision without support . Epson at its heart is still a retail focused company. Sales operations should not be driving the organization .
