      Pros

      The company has a good pay, very good benefits (health, dental, vision etc), bonus and espp. There is a lot of interesting going on in various projects related to cloud.

      Cons

      Big company - so things may move a bit slow. I don't see any other negatives in this short duration. May be I will have more to update after some more time

      Good medical, dental, ESPP, 401K benefits

      I worked as a part of the Global Operations Strategy team for 9 months at Equinix. It is the worst experience I have ever had working in Silicon Valley. The work atmosphere is extremely hostile - constant bickering,bombarding. While Equinix is a great company to work for, the global operations department has the lowest employee satisfaction ratings and the way it is run speaks for it. There is no room for creativity, innovation- just do what you are told to do. There is a lot of favoritism - if you are in the good books of management your life is comfortable and good, else you are in hell! There is a top down management execution failure in this department. I would advise anyone to stay away from the Global Operations strategy team at Equinix.

      - Stable growth - consistent stock and bonus - industry leader - great work/ personal life balance - youthful low & middle management (opportunity)

      Cons

      - a bit of arrogance and selfishness built into the culture - youthful low & middle management (not as experienced) - sometimes too much political game play given the size of the organization
