Pros

Steady paycheck and benefits plus 401k. Clean and controlled environment. No one breathing down your neck. Also they give you polos for work though xl is sometimes a bit hard to come by.

Cons

NO way to move up the ranks unless you're related to someone of come from a certain area of the world. Also management since they're all friends and family, most aren't qualified individuals for their positions.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review and share a few of your thoughts with us. We are sorry to hear you aren't satisfied with opportunities to learn and grow at Equinix. As creating a learning and growth environment is very important to us as an organization, we recently rolled out the Grow, Perform, Succeed (GPS) Program to help increase employee awareness. In addition to quarterly conversations with managers about performance and growth, employees will also be assessed for annual rewards distribution through the GPS Program based on his or her demonstration of Impact, Values and Growth & Potential. We strongly encourage you to use your next quarterly conversation with your manager to discuss your desire to grow and take on additional or broader responsibilities at Equinix. Sales Leadership

Pros

Culture, People and Customer focus. Quality of the products and services. A fun place to work, but it was work hard and play hard. Great deal of respect for all grades and roles across the business. A sense of shared enthusiasm, values and genuine pride. Quality of the people across the board was very high.

Cons

Internal IT could be a little more user focused particularly the collaboration tech, which was substandard for a global business. Benefits package although improving was below industry averages particularly in the areas of base pay, pension, and travel allowances etc. The biggest pain was the sales compensation process & system, or lack of a working one during my tenure. However there was a focus on fixing this in my latter time there.
