      Pros

      Good initial training, and assistance for new advisors for licensing.

      Cons

      Not a lot of support after you contract, a lot of pressure put on cold calling with several branch contests for cold calling.

      Pros

      Warm network for client engagement, enjoyable peer group to work with, enjoyable work culture. Opportunity for good income with consistent and hard work. Things get easier as time goes on. Opportunity to start municipal plans, 401ks, or classic individual accounts is available. You can be creative.

      Cons

      Very little marketing expense, so most people don't know who Equitable is. You are forced to have work partners in school districts where Equitable is a retirement provider. Some work partners are good, some are bad, but you don't get much of a choice. Equitable passes most expenses onto the employees after a certain number of years including tech cost, rent, and admin expenses.
