      Pros

      Flexible hours, lots of training opportunities and resources for new advisors. Management doesn’t micro-manage new associates. No cold calling but it isn’t discouraged.

      Cons

      Fairly minor salary, employee has to pay almost every operating expense and gets minimal assistance for it. Success is largely dependent on circumstances

      Pros

      You get to make your own schedule and work at your own pace. If you are lucky and work hard enough, you can make a decent living

      Cons

      there isn't any base compensation. You need to have a nest egg saved and it is hard to succeed if you don't have a strong natural market.
