      As an intern the environment is pretty laid back, but as a wealth manager it could be intense.

      Pros

      It is a good place for a first finance related internship, specially for freshman. It is easy to get a job because wealth managers want cheap college students to do their grunt work. Overall, your experience will depend a lot on your boss so be aware in your interview whether or not you like the person who is interviewing you. You'll be working for them directly.

      Cons

      Not as recognizable a name in the finance world. AXA is big, but it's more associated with life insurance than anything.

      Great Place for an Entrepreneurial Minded Individual

      Pros

      Great place to start your financial services career if you have a good amount of money saved up! Big international company with a lot of driven individuals. You will be placed in a small group under an experienced leader.

      Cons

      The training process is not very structured, and you will have to give out a large amount of expense up front every month.
