      Pros

      Diverse work environment; employee-centered culture; great benefits such as 401k, medical and dental and vision, stock purchase plans. Supportive of work/life balance. The company welcomes a "question authority" ethic.

      Cons

      More coffee in the break-room, oh, wait we don't have a break-room! Honestly I cannot think of 1 negative aspect to working at Equity.

      Pros

      Great Benefits! Strives to be forward thinking when it comes to company culture, employee training and development opportunities. Team Specific - Leadership was supportive and allowed employees to challenge themselves, grow and openly communicate.

      Cons

      Not all departments/teams where as forward thinking as the one I worked with. Understaffed. It felt like many teams, leaders and employees didn't have time to fully invest in new projects, training/development, or even read their emails.

      Pros

      I have worked for EQR for the past 7 years. Its the only residential management company that I have worked for that truly believes in the work/life balance. Streamlined processes, rewarding workdays, pays well and I go home stress free.

      Cons

      Wish the workdays ended at 5pm, but that's property management for you.
