You have to contribute to the team. If you want to hang back and float along, it just won't work. You've got to speak up and tell someone if things aren't working. Work-life balance can be very challenging in some departments or some locations. Do your homework and understand expectations before taking on a new job or challenge. Sometimes too slow in dealing with problem employees. Can also be slow to recognize top performers. Job experience and work/life balance can vary wildly between departments, regions and locations.
