      Would never have left if they had not sold out of Texas

      Pros

      Loved the culture, the people, and the benefits. They were focused on making great employees happy and took care of their people.

      Cons

      After working for them for 10 years, they sold out of Texas. Going from Equity to a fee managed property was such culture shock. It was almost like they set you up to fail because you think that all companies will treat you so well. So when they don't (and they DON'T), you are lee prepared for that. Also, because they focus on the people, it makes it hard to move up because no one leaves.

      Pros

      You need to be a person with a strong work ethic because we work hard everyday. The pay off for your hard work is excellent benefits, salary and a great work environment. Senior mgmt really cares about their employees. It's a true team spirit with everyone working for the same goal.

      Cons

      The initiatives always change. You finally get a new one down and you Bono and they changed what they want. The changes take some getting used to but once you get in the grove a d go with he flow you see there is a great strategy behind it all.
