Pros

I love working for Equity. It is a nice workplace, with good people and a supportive environment. There are a lot of people who have worked here for 7+ years. Great work-life balance (I work for the corporate office) and a lot of flexibility.

Cons

Big company with red type, but besides that part, everything is great

Pros

amazing company that truly cares about their employees. Great place to work, the teams are all amazing and always there to help each other. Company listens to employees ideas and really tries to make everyone feel involved .

Cons

rent increases are too much even though we are grateful for the discount I feel that employees should have more of a benefit when renewals come up.

Pros

Great coworkers, ongoing education and quick opportunity for advancement, and some months commission is amazing.

Cons

Emotionally draining, rude tenants and tours, no raises really unless you get a promotion, QUICK turnover and managers constantly moving buildings because of how hard it is to manage a building full of angry tenants in Seattle, also very low paycheck if you don’t rent any apartments and get commission which does happen depending which building you’re at.

Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts. We appreciate you recognizing our amazing teams and the various developmental resources that are available to our employees. As you mentioned, commissions can fluctuate depending on a variety of factors, with some months coming in higher than others. Additionally, we recognize that while most interactions with customers are pleasant, occasionally - as with any customer facing roles - there are times where issues may arise; in those instances we encourage our employees to partner with their Community Managers to identify best practices to work towards a positive resolution for everyone involved.
