      Pros

      Great exposure to a number of different areas related to grid management including generation, transmission, renewables, and market systems. Peaceful drive from Round Rock, great benefits, gym and health benefits. Work-life balance is amazing.

      Cons

      Far from Austin if that's your preferred location. Constant fighting among departments. Average salaries. Has a number of downsides of being a non-profit

      Compensation, benefits, and work-life balance. Very intelligent, hard working and fun co-workers.

      You have to be comfortable with a non-profit, quasi-State mentality.

      Before arriving seniors level, life is not easy in the company, low level competition are not healthy.
