-lower salary budget compared to market -no cola (inflation salary adjustment) -all of your carrer path /salary increase depends on your relation with your manager so even if you're doing great in your job you wont get as high increase as a shoe licker employee. -no promotion even if you passed GIAP, a lot of execuses will be made to in order not to promote you and increase your salary because each Job stage has a salary bracket so even if you passed the ETCP/GIAP , you wont be promoted unless there's a shortage in that postion -some employees are promoted if they have a good manager even without GIAP
