      Pros

      - Can learn many arcgis tools - Learn more about cartography - I had 2 managers, 1 was super supportive and nice. This was for my full-time internship.

      - The 2nd manager was very sexist, rude, and unempathetic. This was during my part-time internship. - Slow work mode

      Pros

      Great mentors and genuinely great people. The job is not overly demanding of your time and allows for you to still have a life and family time. Strong team oriented community culture. Job allows you freedom to explore the solution and learn from 500 other smart people with an open door policy. Lots of collaborations between teams and individuals. Great place to learn about software and other interesting aspects of life. The users are engaged with the growth of the software and are continuing to imagine great things.

      Cons

      Pay is low for what the local housing market is demanding. New arrivals may have a tough time buying a local house. Maybe remote work could be a benefit here?
