Pros

Esri, has been great. Non-toxic environment. Free healthcare (not the best healthcare but it's free). Hourly, which means, you can work OT when required or needed. Options to work remote. Beautiful Redlands office.

Cons

This is hard, I do love working for ESRI, but their pay is just way below average. If their pay was average then the turn over rate would lower. The cost of living has skyrocketed and they're not keeping up with the times. So... If I leave I'll have to deal with public companies that don't care about you but you'll make more, if I stay I'll get to enjoy non-toxic environment, and work and life balance. It's hard, because every month I have a mortgage payment.

Pros

None unfortunately, it has been my worst experience ever!

Cons

This company sent me an official job offer with a start date that they were supposed to be committed to and they made me leave my current job, but one day before the join date they contacted me telling me that they will postpone my join date for one week as they needed to do an international background check that I didn't know anything about I thought it's a regular background check, I don't know if it's a raciest thing because I'm not originally from the united states, but anyway they kept on postponing my join date for a full month saying that they need every single thing to be complete else they won't let me join, they asked for a paystub or a contract from every single employee I've worked with for the past 13 years, and I had to go through hell of calls to get them these data, and after submitting all the data they requested, they told me that they will get back to me after one extra week but it took them two weeks just to get back to me and their response was that they decided my job offer and that I can't join the company, without giving any reasons of why? though all the documents they requested I sent, and I tried reaching out to understand why did they decline me by calling them and sending them emails but they didn't get back to me! SO NOT ONLY DID THEY MADE ME LEAVE MY JOB AND KEPT ME HOLDING FOR A FULL MONTH WITH NO INCOME, THEIR CALL WAS TO JUST DECLINE THEIR OFFER AND LEAVE ME WITH NO WORK AND UNEMPLOYED, AND I HAVE A WIFE AND CHILDREN THAT THEY ARE TOTALLY RESPONSIBLE FROM ME AND NOW I'M WITH NO INCOME THANKS TO THEM AND I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO!! They just destroyed my family, thank you so much ESRI!

Pros

I've been working at Esri for nearly 10 years and genuinely enjoy both my work and the collaboration with my colleagues. The team is friendly, and the company fosters a positive and supportive culture. I appreciate the job stability and the excellent work-life balance Esri provides. Additionally, the ability to bank hours allows many employees to earn beyond their annual salary.

Cons

The pay is lower compared to other tech companies, but the work-life balance and positive, non-toxic environment make it worthwhile. However, Redlands is becoming less safe, less affordable, and noticeably dirtier. Additionally, some coworkers take advantage of the generous work-life balance.
