Pros

Stability. Work is very stable. same thing every day. There is no change. The management does not expect stellar performance.

Cons

The company is not big on raises. There have been runs of 5+years that have seen a freeze on pay raises for the general workforce. While upper management still gets theirs.

Interesting.... It is great we are stable as many of our competitors are not... Hire lay off and on and on the cycle goes. We have however been going through some massive changes as any technology company does. Sometimes they are not always as apparent to every employee. It seems as though this employee as cracked the code however. By not providing "stellar performance" you certainly will limit your opportunity to participate in incentives and raises. I am not sure where they received their facts about high turnover as I think we are actually slightly better than industry averages for a tech company i the DFW area. Thank you, George

We do have great HR and we do try to give back to the community whenever possible... mentor ship program and local schools.. matching charitable contributions.. Support for First Scholars and time off for employees to pursue their charitable passions. Back in 2015 is when we made the move to be a UCaaS company and move into the recurring revenue space. I guess this former employee did not believe in that change. As a company you move forward and adjust or you run the risk of being past by. As stated before if any employee does not agree with the direction of the company they work for then they should pursue opportunities elsewhere. I know I went through that in the past. When I did not agree with the direction of one of my former employers I made sure to express my opinions and to fully understand the companies direction before ultimately deciding to pursue another opportunity. If you do not believe in the company you work for then you will not ultimately be happy and that is not a good way to spend your time. I hope you found what you were looking for. Thank you, George

Pros

Great location Good health benefits Nothing else here to say, on to the cons!

Cons

Organizational Changes every few months Management is way to involved in every little task Salaries are poor, compared to averages for in the industry In order to even get cost of living raises you have to work 50+ hours a week They want work-o-holics, but don't provide the environment for them to shine Opinions of those lower than management don't exist or matter Ideas of company perks are free popcorn and a in house convenience store ( which you have to pay for )

Yes in 2015 we were experiencing tremendous changes. We acquired 2 companies just before 2015 and we were adjusting to new business models and new processes. As we all know change is hard. Sometimes management does need to get involved in the details during times of large transitions. If management does not know what is going on in the trenches then they can not make good decisions. We also rely on each and every employee providing feedback to be sure that decisions are made with the proper information. We also know that sometimes we make decisions that do not pan out. If any company is not making mistakes then they are not trying hard enough. We will make good decisions and poor decisions at times but we will evaluate the situations and try to make sure we do not make the same poor decision again. We all have to try to learn from our mistakes. Jobs like developers can be accomplished from different work environments at different times of the day. We embrace this philosophy combined with the ability to set proper expectations and deadlines. Some people prefer to work in the office others prefer to work in other locations we embrace that flexibility as long as deadlines are being met and we have open and timely communication. I think we try to act Like ESI and we know we are not a fortune 500 company. We are small tech company building products and services that are easy and intuitive to use for small to medium sized businesses. Thank you, George
