Estech Response
3yThis person worked at ESI for less than 2 months. At that time it appeared that things were not going to work out. Sometimes this happens we were very straightforward and direct about why we thought it would not work but the bottom line was that it was not a very good fit. All companies including ours do our best to try to determine fit from the beginning but we knew after a short period of time that this person would be better suited working for someone else.
As for the $400 mentioned above. We did agree to pay 4 months' worth of his portion of the Healthcare as long as he was an employee in good standing which he was not at the time. By the way nothing Shady about our benefits program. Even though we had in writing that this would not be covered and this person agreed to that we decided in good faith to make the payment on behalf of the former employee.
