Most everything I quit in October because of management.Dock operations are another major problem. Freight is frequently loaded poorly, which leads to damaged shipments and puts drivers in difficult situations with customers. Drivers are expected to represent the company professionally, but they are often set up to fail due to preventable mistakes made during loading. the dispatchers send you all over the place wasting gas but god forbid you turn on the AC when doing bills oh no you have to sweat to death! and I have personally heard dispatchers tell another driver "too bad your easily replaceable" nice huh?

Pay was pretty fantastic. They pay high knowing you are doing some tough work. They have some benefits. Some management were a dream to work with.

Cons

Some management was atrocious. Authoritarian in the worst sense. The conditions are rough. You have to know that you will be in a dirty, fast-paced, intense environment with extreme weather affecting your work. They are also not afraid to kick you out the door if you give them a reason. If you make just a couple massive mistakes, you better be ready to show you will do better.
