Pros

Roles payout negotiation usually goes well.

Cons

No backup. If you have an issue with the client it will need to be resolved by yourself. The company it's about not retaining but volume. They are also not loyal to small clients. I would not recommend to work for them. There are plenty of good people working for them but as for management well...my review speaks by it's self.

Pros

- great camaraderie among recruiters - casual attire and work culture - taking clients out is fun

Cons

- you will work a lot of hours, job is from 8 am to 5:30 pm. - work/life balance sucks, your job comes home with you every day. - you are trained by other recruiters who have no incentive to make sure you do well. - underpaid for the work you do - majority of recruiters hate their jobs, but feel stuck, so they stay.

Pros

They have (overpriced) health insurance and dental plans. Really unimpressed.

Cons

* This is based on using them as a recruiting firm for a contract role I applied with them for. I wish I had gone with one of their (many) other competitors. – disorganized and under staffed. I have had job interviews scheduled for wrong times, multiple people assigned to me for the same position. – No sick days, no vacation days. Living in the Bay Area, the cost of living is so hight that it's cost prohibitive to take any time off. Not all contracting companies offer vacation days, but I definitely know a couple companies here that do (FILTER and Aquent. check them out, I recommend them) – When asking to review in person with what they weren't providing in the contract, was "ghosted". I'd expect them to at least be open to negotiate or hear my concerns, even if they weren't ready to budge on their policies. – I'm planning to black list them from LinkedIn.
