Pros

Assuming it's your first job out of college it will give you a very good idea of what to avoid in the future, which is actually very valuable info. Also learn how to fake metrics. Great co-workers seem to be universal regardless of the office location. Recruiting internally for a company with dignity is actually a really rewarding and lucrative gig. Approach this as a kind of boot camp for that kind of recruiting and you'll be fine. Spend six months to a year in a large agency like this, look around for smaller or boutique agencies that don't track metrics, and boom you may suddenly find yourself on a decent career path. After two or three years of agency recruiting you can start to look for internal recruiting positions for companies/organizations you actually like in places like the non-profit sector.

Cons

They target young professionals entering the job market for the first time, often straight out of college. They have striated the job responsibilities to the point where each job is the cerebral equivalent of a factory job, except without the pay or union benefits to compensate for the tedious unrewarding labor. This way they can hire people as entry level and disregard the incredibly high turnover rate. Thus the churn and burn status. Their strategy is to burn through the energy and eagerness of young people with college debt and keep them as little more than smile and dial phone jockeys. If someone leaves within a year, perfect, they had someone dialing the phone and making commission for the people above them. It is a Boiler Room wannabe sales culture. You know those marketing job scams where they have you sit inside a BJs and try and sell bait and switch cell phone plans to passersby? This is about one half step above that. They will with absolute certainty tell you about how much so and so makes in the office and it will be above 6 figures. They also track your every move for the sake of metrics, which is somewhat helpful because you will learn how to fake metrics and see through similar corporate bs as you progress through your career. May the lord have mercy on your soul if you make it through recruiting and become the 'sales' manager for a financial tech account, you've been warned.
