      Pros

      EEA has a rep for the excessive workload, and it is true however it is well worth given the experience the principals offer and the opportunities to learn. The firm gives designers opportunities to learn other trades and also provides good opportunity for drafters on a career path. 50/50 hybrid policy, good coworkers

      Cons

      401k isn't great and is only partially vested thru 5 years. Workload is high with very tight deadlines.

      Pros

      Nothing positive to mention about the company!!! I wonder how they are still in business.

      Cons

      1. Extremely disorganized management. 2. No communication between management and employees. 3. No integrity. They don't pay the last paycheck when you want to leave like other decent companies. 4. Unbelievable, but you have to check in and out!!! like you are a child working there. 5. Benefit and payment is horrible. The have a hierarchy for PTO which doesn't make any sense. In the first year you only have 1 day PTO!!!

      I'm sorry you had such a poor experience with us although it is possible you wrote this review for the wrong company? It is always our policy to pay employees for all time worked when they part ways, including any unused PTO at the time of separation. We have no timeclocks or requirements to check in and out. PTO does increase based on years of experience but even entry level employees in their first year receive a generous PTO package (with well more than 1 day of PTO!)

      Pros

      Standard Industrial Benefit, Hybrid working mold, nice working environment, chances to work on big scale of new construction.

      Cons

      Company policy offers very fair benefit but it does not mean you will get it for sure, it all depend on one person's judgement; Less chances to work on other challenges other than very basic MEP design(not even design, maybe sequence calculation/drafting following the principles' directions/decisions).

      Thank you for your review and sorry to hear your experience wasn't more positive. Benefits such as medical, dental, vision, 401k match, paid time off, parental leave, flexible scheduling and commuter benefits are offered uniformly to all employees. Benefits such as professional development assistance and tuition reimbursement are available to employees with performance that is satisfactory or higher and do require manager approval based on the course content and relevance to the role.
