Threats, extreme pressure to sell, very easy to get fired. I was the longest running guest service associate in the store and I was only there for eight months. Management does not care about you and will fire you without thinking twice about it. I saw four girls get fired for very small things. I also witnessed the owner yelling at the manager to the point where she was in tears. Eventually I felt like I had to quit before they could find a reason to fire me and found a job at a much more stable environment. I was definitely not comfortable there. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Pushy sales of products that are questionable. What *IS* is in the lotion or body wash that supposedly makes waxing less 'ouchy'? What *IS* it in the eyebrow serum that grows hair? No one could tell me. A coworker said she lies to clients and says it worked on her. That's when I knew I was quitting. Low commission and no commission on the free wax services. I'm not a fan of hard wax on back/legs/arms. They kept telling me I wasn't doing it right when I complained it didn't get all the hair. Once I started my own wax studio and began using soft wax for those areas I could get every little hair. Lots of no shows I kept being written up for not selling 3 products per shift. 8 hours of waxing is hard on the body. Waxing is very labor intensive. It's easy to get burned out. Impossible to get a day off if you can't find someone to cover your shift.
