Pros

- Remote flexibility (now gone) - Scrappy and focused team of ML engineers - Challenges really taught me to be flexible and roll with the punches

Cons

- Leadership places no trust, priority, or investment given to ML team whatsoever. It consists of no AI people and is ridiculously out of touch. Toxic and political environment. - Constantly demanding unreasonable turnarounds that cause long term, compounding damage to the team's ability to innovate. No serious investigation and resources allocated to identify and research scalable AI problems and solutions. - Compensation packages and updates so lackluster that it's actually laughable. Despite all of this EvenUp is removing remote work for new hires and managing out the original teams of engineers that got the company to where it is today. Combined with the fact that AI management keeps getting replaces, this is a serious indicateion that leadership is playing politics to mask their own incompetence and keep stakeholders appeased.
