Pros

I mean its a fine enough job. Pretty run of the mill.

Cons

Really only cared about the bottom line. Constantly raised the prices of bags to ridiculous heights, which customers took out on us. No sitting allowed. Always just under the limit to be full time, always just under the limit to get a full lunch break.

Good company overall, but....

Diverse company, values health and wellness through company-wide initiatives, promotes from within

Cons

There are bad apples in the executive team. Being a Store Director was extremely stressful and thankless, but I understand that is because of my direct leadership. My particular VP only cared about the numbers, not the people. If you do not speak up and ask for help, you are left in the dust or exploited. I was not properly transitioned into my role due to cutting costs.

This review is difficult to see, but we do value all feedback and are listening. Communication is a priority. Our monthly in-person Coffee Lounges for direct conversation with our CEO, weekly forums, and a very busy internal company news dashboard are just some of the rituals we have to foster regular communication across all departments. These gatherings are often radically transparent and where we learn how you’re feeling and what you need…we hope you did speak up and participate. Thank you for your time with us.
