      allowed much autonomy in my job - mainly due to years of experience in logistics / receiving. store director (my only direct boss on-site) was smart enough to understand i knew what to do without the usual micromanaging, was actively asked for input and operational suggestions, felt appreciated by store director and assistant director

      Cons

      somewhat over pressured to perform without any help from staff other than store director, pay was too low for all the responsibility required in position, relied on me too much to "care" about store performance without commensurate pay, 6 months of the year job should have been staffed with an additional .50 FTE helper
