      Pros

      Locations that you work. Ability for hard workers to get ahead, if you play by the rules.

      Cons

      Unprofessional practices behind the scenes at SSC. Favoritism run amok. The "culture" of being a company for the people that are on the front lines is not what it used to be. Instability in the infrastructure at its core and lip service that it's getting better.

      Pros

      Flexible hours within a cultural attraction. Working within a museum or zoo (even within a store) makes work feel more valuable.

      Cons

      Lots of favoritism. At the USS Midway location, there was a lot of favoritism based on the relationship an employee had with the boss. If he liked you, he gave more hours and let people get away with less work. Also, hours are reduced drastically based on business need. One week, an employee may have 40+ hours while the next, they will have 6 or not work at all. Nature of the business, though.

      Pros

      My co workers are fun and I enjoy interacting with guests. My manager is nice, and very flexible with scheduling around school and life. I also like that every day is different.

      Cons

      I don't really have many bad things to say except that I wish we got more hours and were paid more. The company is making bank off of us, it seems only fair that we should get to see the benefits as well.
