      Pros

      - ability to participate in decisions making, while having some guidance from more senior members if needed - generous benefits package

      Cons

      - a bit of mess with Okta setup and access for the services. Not that critical for work processes though

      Startup Culture in a Larger Organization

      Pros

      EverCommerce is a relatively new organization, having grown exponentially through acquisitions in 2017-2020 in particular. This means, in many of the subsidiaries, you still have a startup culture -- one that is eager for everyone to innovate and experiment with ideas, reduce red tape and hierarchy, and thrive in change. It is also truly a remote-working environment. It attracts great talent as a result.

      Cons

      The downside of a relatively new organization, EverCommerce is still trying to find its feet. The shared services at EverCommerce (HR, IT, Accounting, Legal, etc) are woefully understaffed; reorgs are so common they feel seasonal; goals and initiatives are often abandoned. The result is often well intentioned chaos. If you want a well oiled machine, you will be frustrated working here.
