Pros

Great efforts at improving parental and maternity leaves. Salaries are good because you will be doing the work of 2 or 3 people Benefits are nothing special, hardly anything is a true benefit and if it is you will be taxed on it.

Cons

As of 2025 when they announced his departure and this new CEO everything went to a dark bottomless pit. The rudeness and tone deaf culture festered. Fortunately I’ve been made redundant, I was already looking to leave so this is far from a “disgruntled employee feedback”. Since the announcement of redundancies in November (What a great timing I must say) management/leadership really showed their true colours. They announced the sale of the retail business to AIG and that was it you never heard from the CEO again besides the ridiculous town halls where they had the audacity to say how well they were doing amongst other very irrelevant things. No one knows what’s happening until it’s too late. In the midst of this you get told to work as normal however you’re slowly doing the work of 3,4,5 people. Bear in mind when you start you will already be doing the work of 2 people and they might go as far as pretending and promising you in the interview stage that you will have a team/bigger team soon. It’s not happening don’t wait for it they will never have the budget for that instead you will fail miserably at your work (because technology simply doesn’t exist there) then you will be called incompetent and there will be name calling and it is all ok. No one dares to speak up and good luck reporting this to HR (before you report I’d advise to find another job because there will be retaliation and no support) - Feedback from juniors: Zero clarity on growth (before the redundancies I cannot imagine going forward ) and zero clarity on performance review (explanation is entirely too long and still makes no sense in the end, I have never seen such a lengthy explanation for a performance review) - Good luck trying to finish work on time and God forbid you have a life outside of work to attend to they will be quick mention some small print in your contract - Management/leadership want things to get done however they all stuck up and think they are better than each other therefore no work ever gets done - Payroll is interesting to say the least, it is one person and you hardly hear from them and they certainly don’t seem to take blame or apologise when a mistake is made which I find odd.
