Pros

Great culture, incentives, and people. Teaches you values that will advance you in any career.

Cons

Very fast-paced, like any staffing company. Can be stressful because what you put into the job has a direct correlation on what you get out of it. Must be able to multi-task, communicate well, and handle yourself well in any situation.

Pros

Commission structure - the company rewards the hardest workers (able to make a lot of money) Work life balance Being able to control your own schedule The job itself - going on lots of happy hours and lunches (you NEED to like talking to people for this job) Work environment is fun Management is there to help you succeed and wants you to do well - always available to help Transparency within company Promotion based on performance not politics

Cons

Base salary is low and it will take some time for you to start making meaningful commission, this role is not meant for someone who wants to hop in day 1 and start closing deals. This role can require 1 or 2 years to fully get into the swing of things, but once you do the earning potential is almost unbeatable.

Pros

Apex Systems is very well positioned to take advantage of changing business conditions occurring in the IT Services sector right now. Clients are shifting their traditional IT operating model from viewing IT as an overhead/cost center, and shifting the mindset that IT is a function that will be an enabler to accelerate growth and offer better customer and employee experiences. This changing dynamic is causing CIO’s to shift from a largely offshore/commodity based IT delivery model, to an onshore, agile, customer-focused delivery model. That is where Apex Systems comes in as one of the largest human capital providers in the United States, with access to the best IT talent in all of the largest US markets (Apex has 70+ US office locations). Our clients are not only asking us to recruit and identify the IT talent, but in many cases they want us to manage the consultants and be more accountable to successful delivery of projects. In the past this accountability was only available through large system integrator firms or boutique consulting firms, but due to Apex’s investment in the last 8-10 years in our consulting services division and strong IT Services offerings, we are delivering highly successful engagements and offering value-added services to our clients at much more competitive price points than traditionally available through large systems integrators. Given this unique go-to-market strategy within the IT Services space, I am very happy to be working for a company who has a strong vision for our company in the future and I feel this allows for a great career path for me to continue to grow my skills over the long-term.

Cons

None. Excellent company with a great culture and significant opportunities allowing employees to achieve both personal and professional goals.
