Pros

The people you work for at Apex are very interested in your professional development. While the environment was sometimes very fast-paced and demanding, Apex recognizes hard work and listens to all concerns and considers them. Also unlike any company I have worked for in the past, they will regularly consider pay raises even if you don't specifically ask for one. Overall my experience with Apex Systems was very beneficial.

Cons

When there are three different parties involved (in my case Cisco, Apex, and JP Morgan and Chase the customer) it can be tough to juggle the needs of all three. Also sometimes there is communication breakdown between the three parties.

Pros

Competitive and friendly work environment. Corporate vibe, but not overly so. You will make a good amount of money here if you work reasonably hard and put some brain power into the job. There's a decent work-life balance here; you can walk out the door at 5pm and forget about it until 8am the next day. With that being said, those who are responding to emails past work hours and on the weekend will probably get farther ahead.

Cons

There's some micro-management that goes on, but it's more for your benefit. It's a sales job, so the harder you work the more money you make. And the harder you work, the more money you make, the better your boss looks to their boss. So it makes sense that they There's a good amount of talking behind people's backs. Obviously this doesn't really reflect on the company itself and more on the people who work there, but the company does seem to draw these types of people in. Lastly, get ready to treat human beings as a commodity. This is a for-profit recruiting company, so money is everything with little concern for how it affects your product - people who need a job.

Pros

Not a company that needs you to invest a lot of your time.

Cons

The turnover at this company speaks volumes of it's treatment of employees, especially back office.
