Pros

Great coworkers, lots of opportunity to make money and grow within the organization. They invest a lot of time and resources into their Sales team, so they look for people who want to spend their whole career there.

Cons

Low Base salary, so while you are ramping up in a new role it can hurt a bit.

Pros

Have worked multiple contracts for the same account manager. Both time, i found myself being contacted by multiple contracting firms for the same position and because of Apex's strong working relationship with their clients, i've found they will get you in front of the client faster and with better results almost 100% of the time

Cons

The primary issue I seem to have consistently is with Apex's inability and/or willingness to equal salary offers for the same position coming from competing firms. On a consistent basis , Apex has offered less than that of their competitors with the most frustrating part being the difference in money is so minute in comparison to the number of total contract dollars being collected. On average we're talking 3-to-10 dollars less an hour. Which is usually is followed with a right to represent form.

Pros

Salary if you negotiate well. They will low ball you so stand your ground on hourly rate. Don't add in benefits when you negotiate your rate. They may or may not be there later.

Cons

They nickle and dime the consultants. Taking away benefits that were offered during the hiring process. There is no respect for the consultants that work for them. All they care about is that you keep making them money. - Instead of upgrading the medical insurance to meet state standards they got an extension from the state. The cost of the policy is more then what you could find on your own with considerably less coverage. - Offered 1 week sick time but found out later they were not required to and took back any accrued sick time. - Offered 3.5% match and took that away. Note, they were making record profits but continue to find ways to short change the consultants.
