Pros

Open Communications and focused on putting the customer first. Sincere interest in promoting talented people from within the company. The management team seems to recognize the need for faster technology adoption. Also, focused on growth through acquisition, which theoretically should create opportunities for advancement. Company is also family oriented and throughs a nice holiday party.

Cons

Tough industry. The government doesn't seem very interested in quality these days and are more focused on cost at the expense of experience, so company is cutting cost to keep winning contracts. Could be trouble in the future.

The leadership over this organization is really awful. She can be abusive and the entire team is terrified of her. People throw each other under the bus all the time to avoid her wrath.

Very little oversight. No accountability. Easy work.

Cons

I think this is an okay place to work for a shorter period of time. My reasoning is that you will never get a meaningful raise of any sort. As a top-top performer, you'll get 3-4%. I have had some wonderful co-workers, but I have also had some of the worst co-workers I ever had in my career. I've had co-workers that just log-in to their work stations and bill full hours. It's sick, especially since our tax dollars are paying them to do nothing. Upper management doesn't care, as long as the client doesn't notice. There is WAY TOO MANY "account managers" that don't seem to do much.
