Pros

Management really seems to care about their employees. Facilities are nice, clean, and well-maintained. Pay and benefits are good, and there are often opportunities for OT. Most of the employees are great to work with.

Cons

Often understaffed and high turnover. Too much stress over perfection in areas that don't impact results. Reluctance to enforce rules and remove the few bad apples.

Pros

Lots of smart, friendly and hard working people. You get to work on products that really matter and change people's lives. The pay is competitive, and the culture is flexible enough to not penalize you for coming in 15 min late when there was a problem at your kid's daycare.

Cons

The organization has too many tiers, and no-one is allowed to make a decision without running it up the entire chain. There is a lack of direction and vision.

Ignorant to clueless management

Pros

High tech work that provides patients with ways to a better life. Mediocre salary. Busy but not overworked.

Cons

Clueless leadership. Most management has little to no experience in medical device industry, their goals and decision making highlights this aimlessness. Knowledgeable staff often disregared due to ignorance of management. Very political in regards to staffing, budgets, many divisions in engineering. Staff does not work well together. Florida staff and CEO manages plant and is on site less than 4 times a year for no more than two days at a time. Totally fractured working environment.
