Pros

Can negotiate pay - I started 12k higher than the starting salary, and ended up at 64k by the time I left. There are some incredible people that work here.

Cons

This place will leave you with nothing by the time you leave. Management is a joke, their only advice and coaching is to inform employees to read the same books repeatedly and offer nothing more. Once you get into managerial positions, they expect you to work and be available to them at ANY time. They do not respect personal boundaries or being out of office. Be very careful of indulging in friendships with management - everyone is looking out for themselves and uses friendship to manipulate you into trusting them. The culture also has a heavy drinking and party culture. Executives will pressure and bully employees to participate in drinking games and will deny employment progression to those who do not wish to partake. Underage adults are hired here and are groomed to hang out with the older executives and are heavily encouraged to party with them after hours. Multiple employees are placed in extremely uncomfortable scenarios. If you try to bring up comments on the blatant sexism, racism, and homophobia or the uncomfortableness in the workplace - you will be terminated. Additionally, they off-board employees without giving any warnings or reasoning. They also request that you sign a document ensuring your silence about your experience to receive severance pay. They will not allow managers to be references, and they will completely cut you off once they terminate you.

Pros

Everlight invests heavily in their technology platforms and you get to use many unique tools.

Cons

Everlight leadership frequently ask you to "vote spam" or write positive reviews to counter the ample negative reviews from both consumers and employees alike. Everlight failed to provide final pay within the legally required timelines and only responded when I filed a labor standards complaint and hired an attorney.

Pros

Great Culture, Great employees, excellent solar installations, they have dialed in the entire process for customers, free food/snacks at shops, great work/life balance, no weekend work(for installers), company vehicle to take home(for installers), great meetings and team involvement, fun atmosphere and community involvement.

Cons

Very very limited and mostly non-existent raises, No 401K or retirement plan, only 5 days PTO and 1 additional day each year after that caps at 15 days PTO, Very high employee turnover rate, No employee warning system(good employees let go at astonishingly high rate w/o reason), Sales is expected to work most holidays, remote staff expected to be available pretty much all the time, very new and young company, not good for a stable career.
