      I enjoy working for the company because of the great people that I work with. We have the tools and resources to do our jobs effectively. Our goal is having the best customer service department and we strive to meet that goal each day.

      Pros

      The business model of a Public Utility is very different than private industry and is interesting to learn about. The people are very friendly. Everyone works hard yet the company recognized people have a life as well and gives them flexibility to take care of things like doctors appointments, sick kids, etc. Pay is not the best but benefits are great (although would love more than 3 weeks vacation to start!)

      Cons

      At times there can be a lot of bureaucracy you have to work through to get things done, much of which doesn't make any sense and is time consuming and inefficient.

      Pros

      Great company to work for with lots of training and growth opportunities. New hires can work with seasoned employees, which sets new hires up for success. Great benefits with options that fit most individual's needs start from day one and management schedules quarterly town hall type meetings to keep employees informed.

      Cons

      IT Help desk is a little slow, but does respond via phone and email.
