      Pros

      Being a part of a power company that is focused on having the best energy efficiency programs in the country. Good work/life balance. Organization has a room for growth with a majority of employees closer to retirement.

      Cons

      Large organization, which may not be as nimble. Responsible for keeping power on all the time, so all hands on deck when there are outages to restore power to our customers even if it is not your primary role.

      Good organization to work for, as is shown by a large number of employees whom exceed not only 10 years, but 20 and 30 years of employment with Eversource. The Compensation and Benefits are overall inline with the market.

      Cons

      The career paths are not necessarily straightforward and ability to advance within the organization feels like it is limited.

      Working with a motivated team of people to meet a challenging annual energy reduction goal. Recognized as the national leader in energy efficiency. Easy access to the largest commercial users of energy in the state.

      Opportunities to move up inside the energy efficiency group are a bit limiting mainly because of its small size
