I love my job as a staff accountant. My group is great, they are very laid back and the work is great. This is all very dependent on what group you are in though. We are currently remote 2 days a week with 3 days in the office. insurance options are great! 401k match just moved up to 6%

Cons

Went from 2 days in the office to 3 days-hoping it doesn't go up more. Communication on how to advance is lacking-need to ask direct questions to get answers

Excellent pay, Union, low union dues, uniforms paid for by company. Great overtime perks, good coworkers

Cons

Management doesn’t care. You are just a number. Company has gone down hill since merger with Nstar. All about shareholders. No ownership. Wasteful management spending. All about outside contractors and not replenishing workforce.
