Pros

Good paying job. Great coworkers at the peer level

Cons

Manager or labor relations told us last union contract negotiation we wouldn’t get to carry over 40 hours of vacation time because “sometimes it’s good to not be union.” Same negotiations we were told no bargaining units would get 3% raises across the board, then every other bargaining unit got 3% Labor relations manager lied multiple times during negotiations. The CEO got a$15,000,000 bonus doubling his salary for the year, but they wouldn’t even entertain the idea of a raise that kept up with inflation. Management has been known to salary shame employees saying things like “you’re very well compensated.” When an employee was talking to management about a decision ml that was made they disagreed with they were told “if you don’t like it you can hit the road.” High turnover rate mostly attributed to poor treatment by management. Policies set by directors and presidents name the job more difficult and tedious. Company employees “listening sessions” then ignores import from employees Very low amount of experience do to other employees leaving. Of the 24 operators in the Control Room only 4 or 5 have over ten years at the company in the roll. They care more about optics than they do their employees and customers
