Pros

Massage chair, flexibility of choosing workdays, good work-life balance

Cons

Terrible managers that do not talk to you professionally, texting you at midnight, very cold studio and if you get sick, you lose your bonus even with an official sick leave. Does not care about their high employee turnover because they simply don't care about their workers. Also very low pay.

Pros

Engineering Driven Culture and very knowledgeable people

Cons

- Historically, the engineering architects for Scala and JavaScript exhibited toxic behavior. After being left as the sole Scala architect, one individual became egotistical and dismissive, likely due to pride in their position, negatively impacting the team dynamic. The JavaScript architect has consistently been abrasive. The recent addition of a new Scala architect has begun to improve the team's dynamics. - The appointment of a new CTO, combined with policy shifts driven by the CEO, has shifted the company culture from collaborative to survivalist. Employees are now more focused on job security than on performing with excellence, leading to increased turnover and a surge in job applications elsewhere. Additionally, workloads have substantially increased without corresponding salary raises, with management consistently claiming each year that "there’s no money, we can’t increase salaries, sorry." - In Portugal, the local manager exacerbates these issues with an inflated sense of self-importance, acting as if rules don’t apply to him and believing he’s superior. He willingly worsens work conditions to enhance his own image, eagerly delivering good news to gain favor but delegating bad news to subordinates to avoid accountability.
