Pros

Large German company, but the Birmingham site is relatively small and flexible and cares a lot about the safety and effectiveness of its employees.

Cons

Large German Company. The site is still in a growing pains stage where the records are being transitioned to digital but is t quite there. Scheduling conflicts arise and sometime miscommunication can lead to mistakes. These issues are always being improved, though, so I can see these getting smoothed out over time.

Excellent work-culture, a good balance of formal/informal work practices, open to new ideas and suggestions, extra responsibilities will be given if you are the type to 1) ask for them 2) show that you can manage them. Good option if you're just out of college.

Cons

Contract positions anywhere are typically restrictive in how much you can do, and should only be looked at as a temporary option while you continue to look at better, direct-hire positions. The same is true here. Not a good option if you have a higher degree.
