Pros

Some nice people to work with

Cons

This is a place where two very different Cultures exist. The fist one is where you're a Newbie. Very friendly & supportive. When I started a few years ago, there was unlimited support and you were guided very gently towards reaching your required targets. If you had anything about you, it was easily achievable. Slowly but surely over the next few years, the management structure changed, the parent company put more pressure on to achieve greater profits and hence, targets were increased. Newbies now need to beware ! The training is now haphazard and no longer structured in favour of the employee. Bums on seats taking calls is the name of the game. The IT infrastructure is woefully inadequate and frequently crashes leading to frustrating delays. We were told that there is no planned investment for IT upgrades. I used to speak regularly with the IT staff who told me unequivocally that the IT system is held together with glue, string and sellotape. It's not, but you get what I mean. There is also a new breed of deputy team managers appearing. They are little more than spies, paid to monitor performance and put you on Personal Improvement Plans at the drop of a hat. This is now the culture of distrust and having to watch your back. They're very big on saying that Mental Health & Wellbeing is a big thing but should you find yourself in a position where you have any mental health issues or have an illness, watch the support disappear like an ice cube in the sun. HR are staffed with people who have no empathy with the staff. Rules and regulations are the name of the game, not listening and caring. The staff turnover is eye watering and does not lead to a stable environment to work in. Be warned! There is a lot of outsourcing going on as the company tries to cut costs. Long term job stability is therefore not guaranteed! Pay is on the low side for the type of work. Firms like AO, Eon & Axa pay a lot more. Sadly, there was an incident recently where Directors were caught boasting about their ability to afford golf club memberships and expensive holidays. That went down like a lead balloon and caused morale to sink

Friendly and helpful coworkers. That’s all

Cons

Entire accounting and work system needs upgrading computers freeze all the time, Terrible pay, 30 minutes break, management has favorites, micromanaged and being monitored non stop. Management are allowed hybrid work model, while regular employees must come into the office 5 days a week even during snow storms. Not worth the hassle at all RUN!!!!!
